Halloween Event: “Trick or Cleaver”

What role does the Butcher play?
According to Blizzard, during the Halloween event, the Butcher wants to play “Trick or Cleaver” with you. During the event period, you’ll find shrines in dungeons that give you a surprise effect. They might reward you with riches—or cause your dungeon run to go up in smoke.

For some, the Butcher has become a bit of a joke at higher levels. However, it seems that new players, and especially hardcore players, still fear this deadly enemy and often choose to run away. In Hardcore mode, death is permanent—and for many, the Butcher is considered the final boss.
