Arc Raiders Ancient Fort Guide - All Battery Locations

Every Arc Raiders map features a handful of clever environmental puzzles, and completing them usually rewards you with worthwhile loot. One great example is the Ancient Fort point of interest on the Blue Gate map. If you’ve explored this location before, you’ve probably noticed a locked cellar door along one of the exterior walls, as well as several electrical boxes positioned around the structure. The concept behind this puzzle is straightforward, but the randomized battery spawn locations introduce an element of unpredictability. Fortunately, we’re here to guide you through exactly where to look and how to get it done.

Once you successfully solve the puzzle and unlock the cellar door, you’ll gain entry to a hidden room packed with loot. While the rewards can vary from raid to raid and won’t always be top-tier, it’s absolutely worth checking whenever you’re nearby. With that in mind, here’s everything you need to know about completing the Ancient Fort puzzle and accessing the cellar.

How to open the Cellar Door at the Ancient Fort

When you arrive at the Ancient Fort and start exploring, you’ll eventually spot a cellar door set into one of the outer walls. Most of the time, it will be sealed shut when you first approach it. Take a look at the three indicator lights mounted above the door—those lights are your clue to solving the puzzle. As you might suspect, the goal is to restore power to a set of electrical boxes.

There are three electrical boxes positioned around the fort. They aren’t hidden or difficult to locate, as each one is placed in relatively obvious spots. The real challenge isn’t finding the boxes—it’s figuring out how to power them.

• The first electrical box can be found along the southern exterior wall of the fort.
• The second electrical box is located upstairs inside the main tower.
• The third electrical box sits on the second floor, mounted against a wall.

Each of these electrical boxes requires a battery to activate. Once all three are powered, the cellar door will unlock automatically. The tricky part, however, is tracking down the batteries themselves. Their spawn points are randomized, meaning their locations can change from one match to the next. This randomness is what makes the puzzle slightly more time-consuming than it first appears.

The map below highlights the battery spawn locations that we—and the wider Arc Raiders community—have encountered most frequently during our runs.

In most cases, batteries tend to spawn inside or around the smaller buildings along the perimeter of the fort. These structures should be your primary search areas. That said, there’s another commonly overlooked location: the very top of the fort. We’ve consistently found a battery resting up there, as shown in the image below. If you’re missing your final battery and can’t seem to track it down, make sure to climb all the way to the top and check carefully.

After inserting all three batteries into their respective electrical boxes, you’ll hear a distinct audio cue signaling that the cellar door has unlocked. Make your way back to the door, descend the ladder, and claim the loot waiting below. Just remember—you’re not the only raider who might be interested in the reward. Stay alert while you collect your spoils.
