Arc Raiders Keeping An Eye Out Quest Guide

Arc Raiders sends you back to Blue Gate for the Keeping an Eye Out quest, once again asking you to track down one of Bilguun's hidden shelters. This time, your objective is his hideout beneath the collapsed highway, which can be quite a journey depending on where you spawn on the map. Reaching the location is only part of the task, though—the real difficulty lies in figuring out how to actually get inside.

Fortunately, you won’t need to extract with any special item to complete this mission and report back to Speranza. That means you can safely run a free loadout if you’d like. However, accessing the shelter involves some risky movement and potential fall damage, so bringing along a few healing items is definitely recommended. If you’re confident and prepared, bringing your own kit might make the process smoother.

How to get inside Bilguun's Shelter for the Keeping an Eye Out Quest

Gaining access to Bilguun’s shelter isn’t exactly simple. Your first step is heading toward the collapsed highway, located on the southwestern edge of the Blue Gate map.

Travel to the precise location shown on the map above. Once there, you’ll notice a section of highway that has partially fallen, forming something that resembles a steep ramp.

Even though the incline may look too sharp to climb, you can scale it without much trouble. Simply angle your camera downward and hold forward as you move up the slope. This technique works surprisingly well and can be useful for navigating other steep surfaces throughout the game.

After reaching the top, continue straight ahead until you find a zipline. If no other raider has used it yet, you’ll need to interact with it to deploy the line. Once it’s active, ride the zipline down to the opposite side. This is where the tricky part begins.

Once you land, look back up toward the area you came from. Beneath the highway structure, you’ll spot Bilguun’s hideout—keep an eye out for the stop sign marking the exterior. To get inside, you’ll need to ride the zipline back up and jump off at the perfect moment to drop into the small shelter below. Timing is key here, and it may take a couple of attempts. Be ready to heal if you mistime the jump and suffer fall damage.

After successfully landing inside Bilguun’s shelter, move forward until you see the on-screen prompt to take a photo.

Snap the photo to complete the quest objective. With that done, you’re free to exit the shelter and extract at your convenience. There’s an extraction point located very close to the collapsed highway, making it the most convenient option. Once you return to Speranza, don’t forget to turn in the quest.
