Arc Raiders Reduced To Rubble Quest Guide

Most Arc Raiders quests send you topside to scout locations, collect materials, or uncover bits of intel. That pattern continues with Reduced to Rubble, which kicks off by asking you to do perhaps the easiest task you’ve tackled so far: take a photo. Sounds painless enough, right? Let’s break it down.

The good news is that you don’t need to extract to finish Reduced to Rubble. Because of that, it’s a smart idea to bring in a free loadout—especially if you’re not very comfortable with the Blue Gate map or you’re worried about losing valuable gear. ARC activity on this map is heavier than average, and things can spiral out of control fast, so playing it safe is never a bad call.

Where to take a Photo of the Collapsed Highway

To locate the collapsed highway, make your way to the southern section of the Blue Gate map. This part of the map is usually fairly quiet, though you may run into other raiders who are also working on the same quest. If possible, give them a quick wave and keep moving.

After reaching the Highway Collapse POI, you’ll need to take a photo somewhere within this area. Use the image above as a general reference, but don’t stress about finding one exact spot. There are several locations around this section—both on ground level and up on the collapsed roadway—that can trigger the photo prompt.

When you’re standing in a valid spot, a yellow on-screen prompt will appear that says “Take Photo.” Press the corresponding button to finish this step of the quest. These prompts are fairly common within the area, so once you’re at the Highway Collapse, this part shouldn’t take long at all.

With the photo taken, your next objective sends you toward the Broken Earth POI. To get there, you’ll need to travel northeast through the Olive Grove. This region is much more active, with a higher chance of encountering both ARC machines and other raiders, so move carefully and stay alert.

Where to investigate the unknown ARC Machines in Broken Earth

Upon arriving at the Broken Earth POI, you’ll be instructed to follow the trail of destruction and investigate the unknown ARC machines. Continue heading northeast until you reach the location shown on the map below.

At this spot, you’ll come across a massive, destroyed ARC machine. Interact with the lower portion of it to complete your investigation into the unknown ARC technology. Doing so wraps up the final objective and completes the Reduced to Rubble quest.

After finishing the quest, you’re free to continue looting the area or extract whenever you’re ready. If it’s still available, the Overlook Airshaft is a solid extraction option once you’re done. Head back to Speranza, turn the quest in, and get ready to move on to the next task. You’ve still got plenty of work ahead of you, raider.
