If you’ve picked up The Stench of Corruption quest in Arc Raiders, you’re probably trying to figure out where each objective is located and what exactly you’re supposed to interact with. Tracking down every required spot can be a bit tricky, especially if you’re not fully familiar with the layout of Spaceport. Fortunately, we’ll walk you through everything you need to do below.
It’s important to remember that all objectives must be completed within a single raid. If you die before finishing every step, your progress will reset and you’ll need to start over the next time you deploy. The good news is that you don’t have to extract in order to receive credit for completing the quest. Once the final interaction is done, the quest is considered complete—even if you don’t make it out alive. That said, extracting safely is still the smarter play whenever possible.
When you’re ready to finish The Stench of Corruption, follow the steps outlined below.
Your first objective takes you to the Departure Building in Spaceport. You’ll find it close to the center of the map, slightly west of the Launch Tower, making it a fairly accessible landmark if you know the area.
Since your next step will also be inside the southwest lobby, it makes sense to approach the building from that side right away. Doing so saves you time and helps you avoid unnecessary rotations through the structure.
The staff locker room is situated on the ground floor of the southwest lobby inside the Departure Building. In this dimly lit lobby, look along the back wall for a door clearly labeled “Staff Room.” It’s easy to miss if you’re rushing, so take a second to scan the wall carefully.
Once inside, you’ll find a room lined with lockers and several hazmat suits. This is where the investigation element of the quest begins, as you’ll need to search the area for evidence pointing to the saboteur.
Head toward the hazmat suits positioned near the rear of the room and interact with them. Doing so will reward you with the Flushing Terminal Key. Be sure to actually pick it up and confirm it’s in your inventory, as you won’t be able to complete the quest without it.
With the key secured, your next destination lies beneath the surface. Leave the Departure Building and begin making your way toward the underground tunnel system you’ve likely explored in earlier quests.
If you’ve progressed through previous Spaceport objectives, you should already be familiar with the underground tunnels. The most reliable way down is through the collapsed section located just below the Launch Tower. This entrance provides quick access without forcing you to search too long.
After dropping into the tunnels, you’ll have one final action left to complete before the quest is wrapped up.
Your last objective requires you to locate a Flushing Terminal somewhere within the underground area and use the key to override the bypass protocol. There are several terminals scattered throughout the tunnels, so you don’t need to find a specific one. However, the most convenient terminal is located just west of the tunnel entrance you used to get down there.
Interact with the terminal using the Flushing Terminal Key, and once the override is complete, The Stench of Corruption will be finished. At that point, you’re free to head toward any nearby extraction point. Multiple extraction routes are accessible once you leave the tunnels, so choose whichever is safest based on your current situation and make your way back to Speranza.
After turning in the quest in Speranza, you’ll be rewarded with the Warden outfit. It’s a pleasant bonus for your efforts, though whether you like the look of it will come down to personal preference. Still, cosmetic rewards are always a nice touch.
