A rare new event known as the Locked Gate has arrived in ARC Raiders, giving players another high-risk, high-reward challenge to tackle. This special modifier can appear on The Blue Gate map and only shows up occasionally, making it easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. During a Locked Gate run, all raiders in the match share a common objective: locate four separate security codes scattered across the map and use them to unlock a series of sealed doors. This guide explains everything you need to know about the Locked Gate event and how to track down all security code locations.
The Locked Gate Event functions similarly to other special modifiers such as Hidden Bunker, Cold Snap, or Electromagnetic Storm. You must actively choose to queue into a match where the Locked Gate modifier is active. Once the raid begins, your main objective is clear: find all four security codes and use them to open the locked doors tied to the event.

Several unique modifiers are applied when playing the Locked Gate event:
Because the number of available Return Points is limited, having strong map knowledge and an efficient route plan is essential for success. Teaming up with other players can also significantly improve your odds, as multiple squads will be competing to locate the security codes before anyone else. Every raider in the match is after the same key cards.
The security keys can spawn at a selection of fixed locations across the map, but before you start hunting them down, you’ll need to identify where each code is located. To do that, you must first find the central security room.
When a Locked Gate match starts, you’ll spawn at a random point on the map, just like in a normal run. Your first priority should be reaching the Gate Control Room. This area is located inside the Warehouse Complex, near the center of The Blue Gate map.

Be prepared for resistance when you arrive. Several ARC units usually guard the Gate Control Room, and you’ll encounter additional ARC enemies throughout the map, especially near key points of interest. Inside the control room, you’ll find multiple computers positioned along both sides of the room.
Each computer corresponds to one of the four required Security Codes. Interacting with a terminal will show you which location you need to search and whether that specific code is still missing. If a terminal has no interaction prompt, it means another player has already delivered that particular security key.

Based on our experience, these are the four locations where Security Codes can appear during the Locked Gate event. Keep in mind that these were the locations during our runs, and it’s currently unclear whether they are fixed or rotate between matches due to the limited number of times the event has been available.

At each of these locations, you’ll need to search containers to find the correct security key. The key can appear in any searchable container, so it may take time to thoroughly loot the area before you find it. On top of that, additional ARC units patrol these zones, making movement and looting more dangerous the longer you stay.
Once a key is found, you must safely return it to the Gate Control Room and insert it into the matching terminal. This process must be completed for all four terminals before the Locked Gate can be opened.
After all four security keys have been successfully inserted, the outer gates unlock. A global notification is sent to every player in the match, alerting them that the gates are now open. This also opens access to the checkpoint area, which leads down into the underground section. In standard Blue Gate matches, this area is usually already accessible, but during the Locked Gate event, it remains sealed until the objective is completed.

With the gates open, players can explore the underground zones freely. This area contains a noticeably higher amount of loot compared to the surface, and the rooms within the Traffic Tunnels have a chance to drop rarer blueprints, including items like the Bobcat. However, drops are still randomized, so there’s no guarantee you’ll walk away with something valuable. Speed matters, as other raiders will be racing to loot the same underground areas before extraction.
