The Blasphemous Blade is a powerful Greatsword that scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. Its signature weapon skill, Taker’s Flame, is what makes it truly shine. This skill not only deals significant Fire Damage but also restores 10% of your max HP and adds 150 flat health with each successful hit. Taker’s Flame inflicts pure Fire Damage and its power scales entirely with Faith. So, stacking Faith directly enhances the damage output of this weapon skill. While wielding the Blasphemous Blade, you’ll also recover 4% of your max HP passively, plus gain 40 health every time an enemy dies, making it excellent for sustained combat. To get your hands on the Blasphemous Blade, you need to trade the Remembrance of the Blasphemous with Enia at the Roundtable Hold. This means defeating Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy — a major Remembrance boss in Elden Ring.
For buffs, I recommend using two powerful Incantations: Flame, Grant Me Strength and Golden Vow. Flame, Grant Me Strength increases both Physical and Fire attack power by 20%, making it ideal for enhancing Taker’s Flame. Golden Vow boosts overall damage by up to 15%, further reinforcing your offensive power.
When it comes to Seals, the basic Finger Seal is sufficient for this build. You can purchase it from the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold for just 800 Elden Ring Runes.

To further optimize your damage, certain Talismans are crucial. Start with the Carian Filigreed Crest Talisman, which reduces the FP cost of skills by up to 25%, allowing you to use Taker’s Flame more frequently. Combine this with the Shard of Alexander, which grants a 15% increase to skill attack power — an ideal match for your main weapon skill. Since Taker’s Flame is your primary method of dealing damage, adding the Ritual Sword Talisman is highly effective. It boosts your attack power by 10% when your health is full. Lastly, include the Fire Scorpion Charm to increase your Fire damage by 12% and Physical damage by 10%, greatly amplifying Taker’s Flame.
Utilize two Crystal Tears to temporarily boost your stats before combat. The Crimsonburst Crystal Tear regenerates 7 health per second for 3 minutes, helping maintain max health to keep the Ritual Sword Talisman effect active. Pair it with the Opaline Hardtear to gain 15% increased Damage Negation for 3 minutes, boosting your survivability. You can also rotate in the Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear to raise Fire damage by 20% for 3 minutes — the perfect buff when you're relying on Taker’s Flame. With the right setup, your AR can jump from 751 to an impressive 1328, making this build highly effective against both regular enemies and major bosses.

The best armor choice for this build is the Royal Remains Set. This gear regenerates your HP by 8 per second when your health drops below 18%, giving you another passive healing tool on top of Taker’s Flame. At level 150, you’ll easily meet all stat requirements for wielding the Blasphemous Blade. In this build, I’ve allocated 25 points into Faith to maximize Fire damage and healing efficiency, ensuring your health recovers quickly when needed. My key tip is to maintain distance and rely on the reach of Taker’s Flame. This allows you to hit enemies safely and consistently while healing and dealing high damage from afar.
Here’s how to execute the rotation for this build: Start by consuming your selected Crystal Tears, then cast Flame, Grant Me Strength and Golden Vow for powerful buffs. Once these are active, engage enemies with the Blasphemous Blade and spam Taker’s Flame to deal high Fire damage while healing yourself back to full. This method is highly effective for dispatching enemies at range, letting you maintain dominance in any battle.
This is my complete setup for using the Blasphemous Blade and its iconic skill, Taker’s Flame. It’s a build that emphasizes healing, fire-based burst damage, and safe ranged engagement. If you want a versatile and powerful Faith-based weapon, this setup will definitely help you dominate in Elden Ring.
