Is Marvel Rivals Crossplay? Cross-Platform Details Explained

Marvel Rivals is currently playable on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. All three platforms support crossplay, but the feature isn’t universal across every activity.

Here are the game modes where players from different systems can join each other:

• Practice
• Quick Match (Convoy, Domination, Convergence)
• Conquest
• Custom Game (as long as it’s set to the non-competitive variant)

If you attempt to queue for Competitive mode, matchmaking becomes restricted to your own platform. That means PC players only face PC players, console users only match with their respective console group, and so on. This limitation exists to keep gameplay balance fair and consistent.

As for cross-progression, things are still limited. The feature is not supported yet, meaning your account progress does not carry over between platforms. If you decide to play on a different device, you’ll need to start with a fresh account. However, developers have confirmed that cross-progression is planned for a future update.
