An abandoned space-age facility might sound exciting, but Spaceport is easily the most nerve-racking map for me in Arc Raiders. Between the wide-open sightlines and dangerous Arcs roaming around, it’s not exactly a place you want to linger. So when the Lay of the Land mission asked me to track down LiDAR scanners while completing several objectives in a single run, I knew I had to get it done fast.

The game only gives you vague search zones, and wandering around Spaceport longer than necessary is never a good idea. To help you breeze through it, here’s exactly where you need to go to grab the shipping notes and scanners required to complete Lay of the Land.

How to complete A Lay of the Land in Arc Raiders

The Lay of the Land quest features two core tasks: picking up the shipping notes inside Jiangsu Warehouse and collecting the LiDAR scanners located in Control Tower A6. One crucial detail—finishing the mission requires you to extract with the scanner quest item. Because of this, I strongly suggest not running a free loadout. Instead, bring a setup with a safe pocket so you can stash the scanner and avoid losing it if you die mid-run, saving yourself from having to make a return trip.

Find the shipping notes in the foreman's office

The shipping notes sit on a desk in the foreman’s office overlooking the sand-filled storage area on the second floor of Jiangsu Warehouse, positioned in the northwest section of Spaceport. Despite not being a major hot spot, it's still smart to stay alert—other players completing Lay of the Land may also head there.

Locate the scanners on the upper floor of Control Tower A6

The LiDAR scanners are stored inside a small metal container tucked behind divider walls on the second floor of Control Tower A6. You won’t need a key for this room, since it isn’t the top level. Here’s the most direct path to reach it:

• Enter through the main doors, then turn left past the statue.
• Go through the door leading to the staircase and head up.
• Walk onto the upper level, turn right, then right again past the zipline to find the divider walls concealing the box.

Search the container to collect the LiDAR scanner quest item—just make sure you actually take it with you. You must extract with it in order to complete Lay of the Land, so don’t forget it in the box or you’ll be stuck repeating the entire mission.
