Arc Raiders Lost In Transmission Quest Guide

Arc Raiders will sometimes send you into high-risk zones that can only be accessed with a specific key. One such quest is Lost in Transmission, which directs you to Spaceport’s Control Tower A6 to establish a connection using a terminal at the top of the structure. Although the objective itself is fairly quick, reaching it can be tense due to both enemy threats and rival raiders. In this guide, Gamer Choice will walk you through every step so you can complete the quest smoothly and efficiently.

Before you deploy, there are two crucial details you need to keep in mind:

• You must bring the Spaceport Control Tower Key into the raid. This key is awarded to you when you accept the quest, and it’s absolutely required to unlock the door leading to the zipline and terminal. Without it, you won’t be able to progress. Make sure to store the key in a safe pocket so you don’t lose it if things go south during a firefight. If you forget to bring it—or if you’ve already lost it—you may get lucky and find the door opened by another raider. Otherwise, you’ll need to track down a replacement key, which can randomly appear as loot across various maps.
• Expect potential resistance. The locked room in Control Tower A6 is known for containing valuable loot, which makes it a popular and frequently contested location. Sometimes you’ll find it quiet and untouched. Other times, you may need to defend yourself or deal with another squad already inside. It’s best to head in with a loadout you’re comfortable fighting with.

When you’re ready to take on Lost in Transmission, follow the steps outlined below.

Visit Control Tower A6

Control Tower A6 can be found in the lower-middle section of the Spaceport map. It’s a tall and recognizable structure, making it relatively easy to spot once you’re nearby.

You’re free to approach and enter the building from any direction, including the rear or side entrances. However, entering from the main side closest to the tower itself is generally the most straightforward route.

After entering Control Tower A6, your next objective will prompt you to make your way to the top of the building.

Reach the Top of Control Tower A6

Inside the lower level of Control Tower A6, you’ll discover that there are actually two separate locked doors. One is located in the primary front room of the building, while the other can be found in a secondary room filled with red lockers and desks.

Both locked doors grant access to the same zipline that takes you to the upper level of Control Tower A6. Before using your Spaceport Control Tower Key, take a moment to check whether either door has already been unlocked. If one of them is open, it likely means another raider has already used the zipline and may currently be upstairs looting the room you need for your objective.

How you respond is entirely up to you. You can wait for them to finish and leave, attempt to communicate and explain that you only need to complete your quest, or head up the zipline yourself prepared for a fight. Each option carries its own risks, so assess the situation carefully.

Once you successfully reach the top of Control Tower A6, your objective will update again. You’ll now need to establish a connection using a nearby terminal.

Establish a Connection from the Terminal

At the top floor of Control Tower A6, look toward the left side of the room to locate the required terminal. Interact with it to establish the connection. As soon as the interaction completes, the Lost in Transmission quest will be successfully finished.

Since you’ve made it this far, it’s highly recommended that you take the time to loot the room thoroughly. This key-locked area is considered one of the better loot spots in the game, often containing valuable gear and resources. There’s little reason to rush out without checking everything first.

When you’re finished, use the zipline to descend back to the lower level, then make your way to the extraction point of your choice. Successfully extracting will return you safely to Speranza, wrapping up your run and your progress on Lost in Transmission.
