While most quests in Arc Raiders send you topside to retrieve a specific objective item, Celeste likes to mix things up from time to time. In Tribute to Toledo, she asks you to secure a Power Rod—an Epic-tier item that doesn’t exactly drop into your lap during ordinary raids. It’s one of the rarer finds in the game, but don’t stress. Below, we’ll walk you through several reliable ways to track down (or create) this elusive Power Rod so you can finish the quest without wasting time.
There are multiple methods for obtaining Power Rods in Arc Raiders. Whether you prefer looting dangerous hotspots or crafting the item yourself, you’ve got options. Let’s break down each approach so you can decide what works best for your current progression.
Because Power Rods belong to the “Exodus” loot category, one of the strongest chances of finding one naturally is inside the Rocket Assembly at Spaceport.
Be warned: this POI is extremely active and frequently contested by other raiders. It’s a high-value area, which means competition is almost guaranteed. You can attempt to play it diplomatically at first, but always be ready to defend yourself. After all, someone is going to walk out of that building with a Power Rod—so it might as well be you.
There isn’t a guaranteed spawn point inside the Rocket Assembly for a Power Rod. However, many players report that lockers tend to offer slightly better odds than other containers. It’s also worth considering running the map during a Night Raid, as higher-tier loot appears more frequently in that mode. If you’re already confident in your survival skills, this can noticeably improve your chances.
If looting the Rocket Assembly feels too risky—or too inconsistent—you can always craft a Power Rod instead. Keep in mind, though, that you’ll need to upgrade your Refiner workbench to level 3 before this recipe becomes available. If you’re still early in your base upgrades, this may require some additional preparation.
To craft a Power Rod, combine the following materials:
At first glance, these materials might sound difficult to gather, but they’re more manageable than you’d expect—especially if you make good use of your Refiner.
Start by crafting Electrical Components using Plastic Parts x8 and Rubber Parts x4, both of which are very common resources found throughout your raids. Once you have Electrical Components, combine them with Wires x3 (which you can obtain by recycling various electrical items) to create Advanced Electrical Components.
As for Arc Circuitry, it can be produced using ARC Alloy x6. ARC Alloy is an extremely common drop from defeated ARC enemies, meaning you’ll likely accumulate large quantities of it naturally during regular gameplay. After a few solid raids, you may find yourself with more ARC Alloy than you know what to do with.
If crafting isn’t accessible yet and looting Spaceport feels overwhelming, there’s still another route: dismantling a Snap Hook. This legendary-tier (yellow) grappling hook can be found in rare loot containers, on eliminated raiders, or through the Arc Raiders battle pass.
By breaking down a Snap Hook, you’ll receive one Power Rod along with additional materials. While the Snap Hook itself is a powerful and highly valuable mobility tool, some players choose to sacrifice one specifically to obtain the much-needed Power Rod for Tribute to Toledo. It’s not always an easy decision—but if you’re stuck, it’s a guaranteed solution.
Once you’ve either looted, crafted, or dismantled your way to a Power Rod, return to Celeste to complete Tribute to Toledo and claim your rewards.
