Once Human: How To Sell Combo Chipsets For The Most Energy Links?

In Once Human, the in-game economy plays a crucial role in your survival among monsters and abandoned landscapes. One of the most valuable items in this economy is the Combo Chipset. These items not only hold considerable worth but also provide you with a steady source of Energy Links. Here's how you can obtain them.

Unlock Combo Chipset Blueprint

To begin crafting and stockpiling Combo Chipsets in Once Human, you first need to unlock the associated blueprint. These aren’t scattered throughout the game world but are instead found within your Memetic Specialization nodes. The nodes that unlock Combo Chipset blueprints become available at levels 20, 25, and 30, with the final blueprint accessible at level 35.

However, unlocking these blueprints isn’t always straightforward. The process relies on RNG (random number generation), so you may need to attempt it multiple times before landing on the correct node.

If you don’t succeed at first, you can use Specialization Cleaners to reset your specialization and try again. Once you’ve successfully unlocked the blueprint, you’ll be ready to begin crafting Combo Chipsets.

Craft Combo Chipset

With the blueprint in hand, go to the Intermediate Supplies Workbench to craft your Combo Chipsets. To make one, you’ll need the following materials:

  • 10 Automatic Parts or 15 Standard Parts or 15 Rusted Parts or 12 Special Parts or 12 Refined Parts
  • 20 Metal Scraps
  • 30 Electronic Parts

Most of these components can be found throughout the world. You can disassemble items at the Disassembly Bench to obtain parts and scrap. Technological objects often yield Electronic Parts, so keep an eye out for those. Once you’ve gathered everything, crafting each Combo Chipset will take around 60 seconds.

Sell Combo Chipsets

After crafting several Combo Chipsets, it’s time to sell them for a decent profit. Each one can fetch 12,000 Energy Links, making this a lucrative activity. That said, there’s a catch—vendors in Once Human have a weekly sales cap of 50,000 Energy Links, meaning you can’t sell everything in one go.

To work around this limit, you can travel between the five available town hubs in the game. This allows you to sell up to 20 Combo Chipsets per week, potentially earning up to 240,000 Energy Links if you make the rounds.

While it takes some effort and planning, the payout is worthwhile. Just remember to reinvest your earnings wisely—purchase better gear, stronger weapons, and essential upgrades to help you survive and thrive in the harsh world of Once Human.
