Traders in Arc Raiders will send you on plenty of quests that ask you to track down specific items, and A Reveal in Ruins is one of them. In this mission, Lance tasks you with locating an ESR Analyzer inside a pharmacy in Buried City. While the objective sounds simple on paper, knowing exactly where to go—and how to get back out safely—is the real challenge.

You heard correctly—you’ll need to extract with the ESR Analyzer and bring it back to Speranza. Because of that, it’s highly recommended to equip an augment with a safe pocket so you don’t lose the item if you’re taken out during the raid. Once you’ve slotted the right augment and packed a solid weapon along with a few healing items, you’ll be ready to head out.

Where to find the ESR Analyzer for A Reveal in Ruins

The first objective for A Reveal in Ruins explains that the ESR Analyzer can be found in any pharmacy located in Buried City. However, the safest and most straightforward option is the pharmacy located in the Piazza Arbusto POI, which sits on the southeastern side of the map. This area is usually quieter than many other Buried City locations, with fewer ARC units and enemy raiders passing through compared to more popular hotspots.

Once you reach the pharmacy in Piazza Arbusto, you’ll notice that the front entrance is barricaded. To get inside, you’ll need to interact with the barricade and breach the door. This action takes a few seconds to complete and creates a fair amount of noise. Most of the time, this won’t be a major issue, but if nearby ARC units are alerted, you can either deal with them or quickly shut the door behind you after entering.

After you’re inside the pharmacy, take a moment to look around. This room contains a number of useful medical supplies and resources, so it’s worth checking the shelves before moving on. When you’re ready to grab the quest item, the ESR Analyzer is easy to spot—it’s sitting directly on the counter inside the pharmacy.

With the ESR Analyzer in hand, make sure to place it into your safe pocket if you have one equipped, as you must successfully extract with the item to finish the quest. The Eastern Station extraction point is located just southwest of the pharmacy, making it the most reliable and safest exit option from this area. Be cautious as you head downstairs toward the station, since explosive ARC Pods occasionally patrol the steps.

Call in the train, extract safely, return to Speranza, and hand the ESR Analyzer over to Lance to complete A Reveal in Ruins.
