Arc Raiders After Rain Comes Quest Guide

Arc Raiders will sometimes send you back to the surface with a repair job and expect you to supply the materials yourself. One of those missions is After Rain Comes, which requires you to restore a set of solar panels in Buried City. The last thing you want is to reach the objective only to realize you're missing key components, so here’s everything you need to prepare in advance.

To complete After Rain Comes, you must bring 2 Batteries and 5 Wires. If possible, store these in your safe pockets before deploying. Losing them to an unlucky fall, an ARC encounter, or a hostile raider on the way to the objective would only slow you down and force you to start over.

Where to find Batteries and Wires

Batteries and Wires are extremely common crafting materials and can spawn across nearly any map. You’ll most often find them in Technological or Electrical points of interest, where loot related to power systems and machinery tends to appear. Unless you’ve been offloading every spare component to traders, there’s a good chance you already have enough sitting in your stash.

If you’re short on supplies, you can also recycle certain electrical items. Breaking down a Power Cable will reward you with Wires, while dismantling an Industrial Battery can provide standard Batteries. This makes scavenging flexible, especially if you’ve been picking up random tech along the way.

Where to find and repair the Solar Panels in Buried City

The solar panels required for After Rain Comes are positioned outside the Grandioso Apartments on the western side of Buried City. This area tends to attract plenty of activity thanks to the strong loot potential inside the apartments, so stay alert. Raiders frequently move through here, and some may even have elevated positions above you while you’re focused on repairs below.

After arriving at the location, look for a yellow repair box located beneath one of the solar panel arrays. Interact with it and use the 2 Batteries and 5 Wires you brought along to complete the repair. Once installed, the system will power back up and the quest will be successfully finished.

With the objective complete, you’re free to leave whenever it suits you. Extraction isn’t required for quest credit, but getting out safely is always the smarter choice. The Western Station, located slightly northeast of the solar panel site, is your closest and most convenient extraction point.
