Cooling Coils are one of the harder resources to locate while playing ARC Raiders. This rare crafting material only appears in a limited number of locations across the game. The good news is that it can spawn on several different maps, but knowing the right places to search makes all the difference. That’s exactly what this guide from Gamer Choice is here to help with. Below, you’ll find the most reliable Cooling Coil locations in ARC Raiders and where you should focus your looting runs.
The Coiling Coil is categorized as an Industrial item in ARC Raiders. Because of this classification, your best chance of finding one is by exploring points of interest that display the industrial icon. These areas generally contain machinery, scrap, and other mechanical components where this resource can spawn.

So where should you start looking if you want to farm Cooling Coils efficiently? We suggest focusing on three primary maps: Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and The Blue Gate.
There is also a possibility of finding Cooling Coils on the more challenging Stella Montis map. However, since this area is widely considered an end-game location and tends to attract aggressive players, it’s usually not the safest option. For most players, sticking to the other maps will provide a better balance of risk and reward.
No matter which map you choose to explore, your main objective should always be locating points of interest marked with the Industrial symbol. These locations are where Cooling Coils are most likely to appear.
Dam Battlegrounds contains several large industrial areas that can potentially spawn Cooling Coils. Some of the most notable places to search include the Hydroponic Dome Complex, the Power Generation Complex, the Water Treatment Control facility, and the Scrap Yard located in the southern section of the map.

Among these locations, the Scrap Yard is generally the safest area to check first. However, it also comes with the lowest probability of spawning a Cooling Coil. If you want better chances of finding one, you should consider exploring either the Water Treatment Control facility or the Power Generation Complex.
The Hydroponic Dome Complex offers the highest potential spawn rate, but it also carries the greatest amount of danger. This area frequently attracts other players and is heavily patrolled by ARC units. If you decide to search here, be prepared for possible combat encounters.
The Spaceport is another strong option if you’re looking for Industrial loot locations. Several points of interest here have a chance of spawning Cooling Coils, including the Rocket Assembly area, Vehicle Maintenance, Container Storage, and the Shipping Warehouse in the northern region of the map.

Out of these locations, the Shipping Warehouse should typically be your last choice. The chances of a rare item appearing there are relatively low, and since it sits close to the edge of the map, reaching it can be inconvenient unless you spawn nearby.
The Rocket Assembly area is positioned closer to the center of the map. Although it is labeled with Medium Loot Rarity, getting there can be risky because you’ll likely encounter both hostile ARC units and other players along the way.
For a more efficient farming route, your best bet is to check the Vehicle Maintenance and Container Storage areas. These two locations sit next to each other, allowing you to search both quickly during a single run.
The Blue Gate is the final map where Cooling Coils can be found. Compared to other locations, the number of viable spawn areas here is smaller. The two main places worth checking are the Adorned Wreckage on the western side of the map and the Warehouse Complex located closer to the center.

Out of these two options, the Warehouse Complex generally offers the better opportunity to locate a Cooling Coil because it is marked as a Medium Loot Rarity point of interest. The main challenge is reaching the area safely.
Many players often prioritize looting the Checkpoint nearby, which may give you an opportunity to slip into the Warehouse Complex while they are distracted. The same idea applies to the Adorned Wreckage on the far western side of the map. However, this area is only really worth visiting if you happen to spawn nearby.
