Arc Raiders In My Image Quest Guide

After completing enough raids and progressing through several quests, you'll eventually unlock access to Stella Montis, Arc Raiders' first post-launch map. As you begin exploring this new location, you’ll want to prioritize Lance’s quest In My Image, which requires you to locate and loot three androids within Stella Montis. There’s both good news and bad news tied to this objective—and we’ll get into the details shortly.

Before you deploy, keep in mind that extracting from Stella Montis is not required to complete In My Image. That means you can safely enter with a free loadout if your sole focus is navigating the maze-like layout in search of androids. Going in light reduces the risk of losing valuable gear if things take a turn and you’re unable to make it out safely.

Where to find Androids for the In My Image Quest

Although androids appear on other maps, only those found in Stella Montis will count toward this quest’s completion. Visually, they resemble the android units you may have seen on the lower levels of Blue Gate. However, only specific androids in Stella Montis can actually be looted. Well—some of them, at least. This is where the earlier mention of good and bad news comes into play.

The unfortunate part is that android spawn points seem to rotate between raids. Their exact locations can shift from match to match, meaning you’ll need to thoroughly explore the map to discover where inactive robotic humanoids are currently positioned. While no spawn is guaranteed, the following areas are spots where we’ve repeatedly encountered androids—but your experience may differ.

Androids are typically found leaning against walls or lying across the floor. It’s also important to understand that not every android in Stella Montis can be looted. Some are purely environmental props and cannot be interacted with at all. To avoid wasting time, look closely for the small interaction icon that appears above lootable androids. If no icon appears, that particular unit won’t count toward your objective.

Now for the upside: even if you don’t locate androids in the exact areas mentioned above, they aren’t especially rare within Stella Montis. You may need to spend some time combing through rooms, corridors, and tucked-away corners, but with patience and attention to detail, you’ll very likely find enough to complete the quest in one or two runs. Be thorough—androids can sometimes be positioned in out-of-the-way spots that aren’t immediately visible as you move through the map.

After successfully looting three androids, In My Image will be marked complete, and you’ll be ready to report back to Lance in Speranza. While extraction isn’t mandatory for quest completion, you’ll still need to leave the map safely to preserve your progress and move forward. Head toward one of Stella Montis’ extraction points, stay alert for hostile raiders, and watch out for Shredder enemies patrolling the area before making your exit.
