Kindred Champion Abilities
Mark of the Kindred
Both Lamb and Wolf mark targets to hunt. Lamb marks an enemy champion for death (this mark activates after an 8 second delay), while Wolf periodically marks monsters in the enemy jungle. All champions can see which targets are marked.
After 40 seconds of having no active jungle mark, Wolf marks an enemy jungle monster for 3 minutes.
Wolf marks jungle monsters based on Kindred's current stacks:
0 Marks: Rift Scuttler
1-3 Marks: Rift Scuttler, Crimson Raptor, Gromp
4-7 Marks: Red Brambleback, Blue Sentinel, Ancient Krug, Greater Murk Wolf
8+ Marks: Rift Herald, Baron Nashor, Elemental Drakes, Elder Dragon
If Kindred kills a marked target or assists in their death, they gain a mark. Kindred's basic attacks and Mounting Dread gain 75 range at 4 stacks, plus 25 range every 3 stacks thereafter. Stacks also amplify Kindred's basic abilities:
Q - Dance of Arrows: Bonus attack speed increased by an additional 5% per stack.
W - Wolf's Frenzy: Current health damage increased by an additional 0.5% per stack.
E - Mounting Dread: Missing health damage increased by an additional 0.5% per stack.
Targets successfully hunted cannot be targeted again for 240 seconds. Lamb can also change her target after 90 seconds if the target hasn't died in that time.
P
Dance of Arrows
Kindred vaults, firing an arrow at up to 3 enemies, 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 140 (+0.75 per bonus attack damage) physical damage and gaining 35% attack speed (+5% for every mark) for 4 seconds. While inside of Wolf's Frenzy, this ability's cooldown is reduced to 4 / 3.5 / 3 / 2.5 / 2 seconds.
Q
Wolf's Frenzy
Passive: Kindred gains stacks as they move and attack. At 100 stacks, Kindred's next attack restores up to 100 health depending on their missing health.
Active: Kindred claims a territory, ordering wolf to bite at the last enemy lamb attacked. Wolf's bites deal 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 (+20% of ability power) (+0.2 per bonus attack damage) (+1.5% (+1% per Mark) of the target's current health) as magic damage.
W
Mounting Dread
Kindred weakens an enemy, slowing them by 30% (+5% per 100 ability power) for 1 second.
Kindred's third attack against the target within a few seconds of each other directs Wolf to pounce on the enemy, dealing 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 / 160 plus (+0.8 per bonus attack damage) (+5% (+0.5% per Mark) of the target's missing health) as physical damage.
Wolf's pounce critically strikes for 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 / 200 plus (+1.0 per bonus attack damage) (+0.12 (+0.75% per Mark) of the target's missing health) as physical damage instead if they are below 25-75% health.
E
Lamb's Respite
Kindred blesses the ground for 4 seconds, allowing no unit, ally, enemy, or neutral to die while inside. Upon reaching 10% health, units can't be damaged or healed while still inside the zone.
When the blessing ends, all units inside heal for 225 / 300 / 375 health.

Kindred Tips and Tricks
Despite marks being super important, do not tunnel vision on them and put yourself in bad situations just to collect them. Kindred can solo objectives pretty easily, but make sure you have priority in nearby lanes before attempting to take them alone. It’s better to use your ultimate preemptively rather than waiting until it's too late. Use it just before you or your allies are at risk of dying.
The Best Kindred Builds, Runes, and Items
Most Popular Build
For your Summoner Spells, take Flash and Smite. Choose Press the Attack as your keystone, and select Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, and Coup de Grace in the primary tree. In the secondary tree, take Sudden Impact and Treasure Hunter. For your rune shards, choose Attack Speed in offense, Adaptive Force in flex, and Health Scaling in defense. Start with Trinity Force as your first item, followed by Plated Steelcaps and The Collector. Finish your build with Infinity Edge, Lord Dominik’s Regards, and Rapid Firecannon. Max your abilities in the order Q, W, E.
Optional Build
In this option, Flash and Smite remain your Summoner Spells. The runes stay the same with Press the Attack as your keystone, and Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, and Coup de Grace in the primary tree. Choose Sudden Impact and Treasure Hunter in the secondary tree, with Attack Speed in offense, Adaptive Force in flex, and Health Scaling in defense. Begin with Kraken Slayer as your first item, then build Plated Steelcaps and The Collector. The rest of your items should include Lord Dominik’s Regards, Infinity Edge, and Guardian Angel. Stick with the Q, W, E ability order.
Alternative Build
This alternative build also uses Flash and Smite as Summoner Spells. Pick Conqueror as your keystone, and choose Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, and Coup de Grace in the primary tree. For the secondary tree, take Sudden Impact and Treasure Hunter. Rune shards should be Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling. Start with Trinity Force, then build Plated Steelcaps and The Collector. Finish with Lord Dominik’s Regards, Infinity Edge, and Rapid Firecannon. Max your abilities in the order Q, W, E.
Off-Meta Build
If you want to try something off-meta, go for Flash and Smite as your Summoner Spells. Select Lethal Tempo, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, and Cut Down in the primary rune tree, and Magical Footwear with Cosmic Insight in the secondary tree. For rune shards, choose Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling. Begin with Trinity Force, then build Plated Steelcaps and The Collector. Complete your build with Infinity Edge, Rapid Firecannon, and Lord Dominik’s Regards. The ability order should be Q, W, E.
Situational Kindred Runes and Items
Depending on the game’s context, your matchup, and enemy champions, you may want to adjust your build and runes. Carefully assess the situation to plan your Kindred build accordingly. For example, if you are up against heavy physical or magic damage, you may want to adapt your rune shards to provide Armor or Magic Resist.
