    Illumination

    Illumination

Lux's damaging abilities mark enemies for 6 seconds. Lux's attacks consume the mark, dealing 30-200 (+30% of ability power) (depending on level) magic damage.

Final Spark will consume marks on enemies it hits and refresh them.

Lux releases a sphere of light that immobilizes and deals 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+65% of ability power) magic damage to up to two enemy units for 2 seconds.

    Prismatic Barrier

    Prismatic Barrier

Lux throws her wand to a target location, bending the light around herself and any friendly champion it touches by granting a 45 / 65 / 85 / 105 / 125 (+35% of ability power) damage shield for 2.5 seconds. After reaching maximum range, the wand returns to Lux, shielding herself and any friendly champion it touches for the same amount again. The second shield stacks with the first shield while also refreshing the shield duration.

    Lucent Singularity

    Lucent Singularity

    Lux creates a light zone that slows by 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% and reveals the area. After 5 seconds or on recasting this ability, it detonates, dealing 65 / 115 / 165 / 215 / 265 (+80% of ability power) magic damage and slowing for an additional 1 second.
    E
    Final Spark

    Final Spark

After gathering energy for a half second, Lux fires a beam of light that deals 300 / 400 / 500 (+100% of ability power) damage to all targets in the area and reveals it. It ignites and refreshes Lux's Illumination debuff if it hits enemies already afflicted.

Lux can Flash while casting Final Spark though her ultimate won't follow her when she flashes.

    Lux Tips and Tricks

Stick with your team at all times so you can siege together and apply poke pressure. Avoid isolating yourself in a side lane, as you will be an easy target for many enemies. Before engaging in a team fight, try to poke the enemy as much as possible with your abilities. Lux excels at poke damage, and softening up opponents beforehand makes fights easier. When facing champions with strong engage tools like Alistar or Thresh, avoid using your Q aggressively unless you are certain it will land. Lux is vulnerable when her Q is down, so it is crucial to keep it available as long as possible.

    Lux Best Build, Runes, Items

    Most Popular

For the most popular Lux Support build, take Flash and Ignite as your Summoner Spells. Use Arcane Comet as your keystone, with Manaflow Band, Transcendence, and Scorch in the primary tree, and Cheap Shot with Ultimate Hunter in the secondary tree. For rune shards, choose Adaptive Force in offense, Adaptive Force in flex, and Health Scaling in defense, depending on your matchup. Start with Zaz'Zak's Realmspike, followed by Sorcerer's Shoes and Luden's Companion. Finish the build with Stormsurge, Shadowflame, and Morellonomicon. For skill maxing, prioritize E - Q - W.

    Optional

Another viable Lux Support build involves taking Flash and Ignite as your Summoner Spells. Use Dark Harvest as your keystone, with Cheap Shot, Grisly Mementos, and Ultimate Hunter in the primary tree, and Manaflow Band with Transcendence in the secondary tree. Rune shards should include Adaptive Force in offense, Adaptive Force in flex, and Health Scaling in defense. Start with Zaz'Zak's Realmspike, followed by Sorcerer's Shoes and Luden's Companion. Complete the build with Stormsurge, Shadowflame, and Rabadon's Deathcap. For ability maxing, stick with E - Q - W.

    Alternative

If you prefer an alternative approach, take Flash and Ignite as your Summoner Spells. Use Arcane Comet as your keystone, with Manaflow Band, Transcendence, and Scorch in the primary tree, and Cheap Shot with Ultimate Hunter in the secondary tree. Rune shards should be Adaptive Force, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling. Start with Celestial Opposition, followed by Sorcerer's Shoes and Luden's Companion. Finish with Stormsurge, Rabadon's Deathcap, and Shadowflame. Prioritize maxing E - Q - W.

    Off-Meta

If you want to try an off-meta Lux Support build, take Flash and Ignite as your Summoner Spells. Use Electrocute, Cheap Shot, Grisly Mementos, and Ultimate Hunter in the primary rune tree, with Manaflow Band and Transcendence in the secondary tree. Rune shards should include Adaptive Force, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling. Start with Zaz'Zak's Realmspike, followed by Sorcerer's Shoes and Luden's Companion. Complete the build with Stormsurge, Shadowflame, and Void Staff. For skill maxing, follow E - Q - W.

    Situational Lux Runes and Items

Depending on the matchup, team compositions, and game state, adjusting your build can improve your performance. Evaluate the enemy team and your own to decide on the best rune choices and itemization. For example, when selecting rune shards, consider taking Armor or Magic Resist based on the type of damage you will be facing in lane.
