    Nasus Tips and Tricks

Nasus thrives on stacking his Siphoning Strike (Q), but surviving the laning phase is crucial. Don’t be afraid to let a few stacks slip by in the early stages if it means staying healthy enough to farm safely. Since Nasus is weak early on, avoid unnecessary fights, especially if you're at risk of dying or losing Flash. Falling behind early can make your game much harder. Nasus truly shines in the late game, so focus on split pushing during the mid and late stages of the game. However, if your team requires you to join team fights, be ready to group up and support them.

Best Build, Runes, and Items for Nasus Top

For Nasus in the top lane, Ghost and Teleport are ideal summoner spells to maximize your mobility and presence on the map. Fleet Footwork is the keystone you should take for consistent healing and better sustain in the lane. In the primary tree, pick Triumph, Legend: Haste, and Last Stand for more durability and enhanced damage in the late game. In the secondary tree, Second Wind helps with laning sustain, and Unflinching provides more tenacity.

For your rune shards, Ability Haste will help with faster cooldowns, and Health Scaling in both the flex and defense shards will make you tankier against most opponents.

Start your item build with Trinity Force for damage, health, and movement speed, which enhances your overall combat power. Ionian Boots of Lucidity come next for cooldown reduction, followed by Frozen Heart for armor and cooldown reduction. Your final items should include Spirit Visage for increased healing, Thornmail for armor and damage reflection, and Jak'Sho, The Protean for a significant power boost. Stick to maxing Q first, followed by W and E.

    Situational Nasus Runes and Items

Depending on your matchup and the state of the game, you might want to adjust your items and runes. If you’re facing a heavy magic damage enemy, consider building magic resist items like Adaptive Helm or Spirit Visage for additional sustain. On the other hand, against AD-heavy champions, armor items such as Thornmail or Randuin’s Omen can be very effective. Pay attention to your lane, your team’s needs, and the enemy's composition to adjust Nasus’ build accordingly.
