Pantheon Champion Abilities
Mortal Will
After using 5 abilities or attacks, Pantheon empowers his next basic ability.
P
Comet Spear
Tap: Pantheon thrusts his spear, dealing 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 / 190 (+1.15 per bonus attack damage) physical damage to enemies hit and refunding 50% of Comet Spear's cooldown.
Hold: Pantheon hurls his spear, extending its range to 1000 units while dealing 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 / 190 (+50% of ability power) (+1.15 per bonus attack damage) physical damage to the first enemy hit and 50% less to further targets.
Comet Spear's damage is increased to 155 / 230 / 305 / 380 / 455 (+100% of ability power) (+2.3 per bonus attack damage) against enemies below 20% of their maximum health regardless of whether Pantheon thrusts or hurls his spear, but deals 30% less damage to minions. Monsters take 5% bonus damage.
Mortal Will Bonus: Comet Spear deals an additional 20-240 (+1.15 per attack damage) physical damage (depending on level) affected by the previous damage reductions, to all enemies hit. Consumes the stacks upon recasting.
Q
Shield Vault
Pantheon leaps on his target, dealing 6 / 6.5 / 7 / 7.5 / 8% of target's maximum health (+1.5% per 100 ability power) (+0.4% per 100 of Pantheon's bonus health) physical damage and stunning them for 1 second.
Mortal Will Bonus: Pantheon's next attack strikes 3 times, dealing 40-55% damage each for a total of 120-165% physical damage (depending on level).
W
Aegis Assault
Pantheon braces his shield and engages enemies in a chosen direction for 1.5 seconds, becoming immune to non-tower damage from that direction and dealing 100% physical damage over the duration.
After channeling Pantheon slams with his shield, dealing 55 / 105 / 155 / 205 / 255 (+1.5 per attack damage) physical damage.
Mortal Will Bonus: When Pantheon slams his shield he gains 5−30 (+2.5% bonus health) armor and magic resist for 4 seconds (depending on level), and 60% movement speed for 1.5 seconds.
E
Grand Starfall
Passive: Pantheon gains 10 / 20 / 30% armor penetration.
Active: Pantheon gathers his strength to leap high into the air. He throws his spear from above which in a small area deals 40−190 (+50% of ability power) (+1.15 per attack damage) physical damage and slows by 50% for 2 seconds. Pantheon then crashes down as a meteor at the target area. Deals up to 300 / 500 / 700 (+100% of ability power) magic damage to enemies in a line (decreased by up to 50% at the edges of the area). This ability instantly readies Mortal Will.

Pantheon Tips and Tricks
At level six, if you can’t find a kill in your own lane, look to use your Ultimate from base to assist either your Mid laner or Bot lane. Pantheon is incredibly strong in the early game, so take advantage of his power by skirmishing aggressively and looking for kills from the start of the laning phase. As the game progresses, focus on split pushing while your team groups for objectives. When a fight breaks out, use your Ultimate to join the battle, creating a numbers advantage by leaving an enemy stuck in the side lane.
The Best Pantheon Builds, Runes and Items for Top
For Summoner Spells, Flash and Ignite are the go-to choices, allowing you to secure kills early and apply constant pressure. When it comes to runes, Conqueror is the preferred keystone, giving Pantheon sustain and extra damage in extended fights. The rest of the primary tree includes Presence of Mind for mana regeneration, Legend: Haste for ability haste, and Last Stand for bonus damage when low on health. In the secondary tree, Conditioning and Overgrowth provide additional tankiness as the game goes on. For rune shards, Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling are ideal, but adjustments can be made depending on the matchup.
For items, Eclipse is the first core purchase, offering strong burst and sustain. Plated Steelcaps provide durability, followed by Black Cleaver for armor shred and extra mobility. To round out the build, Sundered Sky adds survivability, Sterak’s Gage increases tankiness, and Maw of Malmortius helps against magic damage threats. The optimal skill order is to max Q first, followed by W, then E.
Situational Pantheon Runes and Items
Depending on the matchup and game state, you may need to adjust your build. Rune shards can be swapped to Armor or Magic Resist based on your lane opponent. If facing heavy crowd control or burst damage, consider taking alternative defensive items to improve survivability. Always assess your team’s needs and the enemy composition before finalizing your build.
