Urgot Tips and Tricks

Your Fear Beyond Death R is slow-moving and easily dodgeable, so wait for the enemy to use their Flash or escape abilities before throwing it out or when they’re in range. In team fights, activate your R on the target your allies are focusing to make it easier for you to execute them. Be ready to use Flash if there are nearby enemies to make sure they get feared too. Continuously move and kite the enemy, using your Passive’s explosive legs to deal more damage.

The Best Urgot Builds, Runes and Items

Most Popular

For a standard Urgot setup, take Flash and Teleport as your Summoner Spells. Use Press the Attack as your keystone, with Triumph, Legend: Haste, and Last Stand in the primary tree. In the secondary tree, pick Bone Plating and Overgrowth. For rune shards, take Adaptive Force in offense, Adaptive Force in flex, and Health Scaling in defense. Start with Black Cleaver, followed by Boots of Swiftness and Sterak's Gage. Complete your build with Jak'Sho, The Protean, Thornmail, and Overlord's Bloodmail. Max your abilities in the order W - E - Q.

Optional

For another approach, take Flash and Teleport with Phase Rush as your keystone, and Nimbus Cloak, Celerity, and Gathering Storm in the primary tree. In the secondary tree, go for Conditioning and Overgrowth. Use Adaptive Force, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling as your rune shards. Build Black Cleaver first, followed by Boots of Swiftness and Sterak's Gage. Finish your build with Jak'Sho, The Protean, Thornmail, and Kaenic Rookern. Stick with W - E - Q for ability maxing.

Alternative

If you’re looking for an alternative build, use Flash and Teleport with Conqueror as your keystone, along with Triumph, Legend: Haste, and Last Stand in the primary tree. In the secondary tree, choose Bone Plating and Overgrowth. Rune shards should be Adaptive Force, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling. Start with Black Cleaver, then build Plated Steelcaps and Sterak's Gage. Finish the build with Jak'Sho, The Protean, Thornmail, and Overlord's Bloodmail. Max your abilities in the order W - E - Q.

Off-Meta

For an off-meta build, try Flash and Teleport with Press the Attack as your keystone, and Triumph, Legend: Haste, and Last Stand in the primary tree. In the secondary tree, take Bone Plating and Overgrowth. Use Adaptive Force, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling for your rune shards. Begin with Hullbreaker, followed by Plated Steelcaps, and Black Cleaver. Complete your build with Sterak's Gage, Jak'Sho, The Protean, and Thornmail. Stick to W - E - Q for ability maxing.

Situational Urgot Runes and Items

Depending on the context of your game, your matchup, and enemy champions, you may want to adjust your runes or items. Consider Armor or Magic Resist rune shards based on the champion you’re facing. Adapt your itemization to better suit the enemy team’s composition and your role in the game.
