Xin Zhao Jungle is most effective with a build centered around Sundered Sky, Plated Steelcaps, Black Cleaver, Sterak's Gage, and Death's Dance. The preferred rune setup for Xin Zhao Jungle includes Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, and Coup de Grace in the primary tree, paired with Cosmic Insight and Magical Footwear in the secondary tree.

Xin Zhao Champion Abilities

Determination

Every third attack or strike with Wind Becomes Lightning deals an additional 15 / 30 / 45 / 60% attack damge as bonus physical damage and restores 3/3.5/4% (+65% of ability power) health (at levels 1 / 6 / 11). P

Three Talon Strike

Xin Zhao's next 3 attacks deal an additional 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 (+0.4 per attack damage) physical damage and reduces his other ability's cooldowns by 1 second. The third attack also knocks up for 0.75 seconds. Q

Wind Becomes Lightning

Xin Zhao slashes, dealing 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 (+0.3 per attack damage) physical damage, then thrusts, dealing the same damage again. Enemies hit by the thrust are slowed by 50% for 1 seconds. Champions and large monsters hit by the thrust are marked as Challenged for 3 seconds. W

Audacious Charge

Xin Zhao charges an enemy, dealing 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+60% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies and slowing them by 30% for 0.5 seconds.

Xin Zhao also grants himself 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60% attack speed for 5 seconds. Audacious Charge's range is increased on enemies that are Challenged. E

Crescent Guard

The last champion Xin Zhao damaged with an attack or Audacious Charge is Challenged for 3 seconds. Xin Zhao unleashes a sweep around him that deals 75 / 175 / 275 (+110% of ability power) (+1.0 per bonus attack damage) plus 15% current health as physical damage and knocks back all non-Challenged enemies. Afterwards, Xin Zhao becomes immune to damage from enemies outside the sweep range for 4 seconds. R

Xin Zhao Tips and Tricks

Xin Zhao is a strong Jungler in the early game. Use your early strengths to invade the enemy’s jungle and steal camps when you spot them on the opposite side of the map. Avoid team fighting unless your R (Crescent Sweep) is up; without it, you’ll be vulnerable and easier to kill. Don’t hesitate to repeatedly gank lanes, as Xin Zhao excels at ganking and can do so over and over again.

Best Xin Zhao Build, Runes, and Items for Jungle

For the most popular Xin Zhao Jungle build, take Flash and Smite as your Summoner Spells. For your runes, Conqueror should be your keystone, followed by Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, and Coup de Grace in the primary tree, with Cosmic Insight and Magical Footwear in the secondary tree. For rune shards, use Attack Speed in offense, Adaptive Force in flex, and Health Scaling in defense. For your item build, start with Sundered Sky, followed by Plated Steelcaps and Black Cleaver.
