Yorick Champion Abilities

Shepherd of Souls

Shepherd of Souls

Yorick raises a grave for every 12th / 6th / 2nd enemies that die near him. Champions and large monsters always leave a grave.

These graves can be used to summon Mist Walkers with Awakening and Eulogy of the Isles. Mist Walkers have 110-212 (+20% maximum health) health and 4-90 (+0.2 of attack damage) attack damage, and Yorick can control up to 4 in an area (depedning on level).
P
Last Rite

Last Rite

Yorick's next attack deals an additional 30 / 55 / 80 / 105 / 130 (+0.4 per attack damage) physical damage and restores 10-68 health (+4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8% missing health), halved vs non-champions. If this attack kills the target, it leaves a grave.

When there are 3 or more graves nearby and this ability has already been used, Yorick can Recast to raise Mist Walkers from all nearby graves.

This ability triggers spell effects upon dealing damage.
Q
Dark Procession

Dark Procession

Yorick summons a wall of spirits blocking enemies' path, but not allies'. The wall can be attacked, and disappears after 2 / 2 / 3 / 3 / 4 hits.
W
Mourning Mist

Mourning Mist

Yorick throws a globule of Black Mist that deals 15% current health as magic damage (min: 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+70% of ability power)), slows by 30% for 2 seconds, and marks champions and monsters for 4 seconds.

Marked enemies continuously awaken nearby graves (but not exceeding the maximum of 4, and take 20% increased damage from up to 8 attacks by Mist Walkers. Yorick and his summoned units gain 20% movement speed toward the mark. Mist Walkers will leap once at marked enemies that get away from them.
E
Eulogy of the Isles

Eulogy of the Isles

Yorick summons the Maiden of the Mist and 2 / 3 / 4 Mist Walkers. The Maiden has 400-1650 (+60% of Yorick's maximum health) health, deals 0 / 10 / 40 (+0.5 per attack damage) magic damage, and automatically raises more Mist Walkers from nearby enemy deaths. When Yorick damages the Maiden's target, he will deal 2 / 2.5 / 3% max health magic damage. This effect has no cooldown.

After 10 seconds, Yorick can Recast this ability to free the Maiden, sending her down the nearest lane.

Yorick Tips and Tricks

Look to split push with your Ultimate R to take down towers. Avoid engaging in team fights if you’re not sure you can win them, especially if your Ultimate R is on cooldown. Yorick needs time to come online, so keep the minion wave close to your tower before level 6 to increase your chances of getting a lead and reducing the risk of ganks. During basic trades, avoid using any abilities other than your Q, as your abilities cost a lot of mana, leaving you vulnerable while they are on cooldown.

Situational Yorick Runes and Items

Depending on your game's context, the matchup, and enemy champions, you might need to adjust your items or runes. Always assess your team composition, enemy threats, and the game state when deciding on your Yorick build. For example, you might want to opt for Armor or Magic Resist rune shards depending on the champion you're facing in lane.
