Escape from Tarkov is a hardcore first person shooter survival game where players enter dangerous raid zones to fight enemies, gather loot, and extract before time runs out. In this guide, you will learn everything about the Streets of Tarkov map, including extraction points, boss locations, loot spots, PvP hotspots, and essential survival tips.
The Streets of Tarkov map is generally easier to learn than locations like Reserve, Shoreline, or Woods due to its clear landmarks and road layouts. After one or two raids, most players can confidently navigate the map and locate extractions. In total, Streets of Tarkov contains nine PMC extractions and four Scav extractions, offering flexible escape routes throughout the raid.

In Escape from Tarkov, extraction points are faction specific. PMC characters cannot use Scav extractions, and Scavs cannot extract at PMC exits. Understanding this distinction is crucial when navigating Streets of Tarkov.
Below is a complete breakdown of every extraction available on the map.

Collapsed Crane is located on the western side of Streets of Tarkov in the construction area near the Concordia buildings. This extraction is commonly used and relatively easy to reach during most raids.

With your back to the Cinema entrance and facing west, the Courtyard extraction is located across the road to your left in the southern direction. A green flare must be present at the entrance for this extraction to be active.

Turn your back to the Cinema stairs and follow the road on the right side toward the rear of the Cinema. The Damaged House extraction is located at the end of this road.

Klimov Street is one of the most dangerous extractions on Streets of Tarkov. Sniper Scavs guard the area and will kill players who do not meet the extraction requirement. After the Signal flare area message appears, activate a green flare before crossing the street to the extraction point.

To extract here, you must carry ₽5,000, though the price may vary depending on Scav karma. This extraction can only be used once per raid, meaning it becomes unavailable after another player uses it.

Follow the street heading north from the right side of the Cinema building to reach the Sewer River extraction.

Basement Descent is located in the residential zone and is positioned very close to the Scav Checkpoint extraction.

This extraction is located next to the Sewer River. After descending the stairs, the exit will be on the left side.

The Sewer Manhole extraction can be found between the two Concordia buildings, specifically in the corner of the L shaped structure.

The Ventilation Shaft extraction is located just outside the Cinema building. With your back to the Cinema stairs, the exit is visible on the left side.
There are several bosses in Escape from Tarkov, but only two bosses currently spawn on the Streets of Tarkov map. These bosses are Kaban and Kollontay. Both are extremely dangerous and require careful planning to defeat.

Kaban is the primary boss of Streets of Tarkov. He is heavily armored and always spawns with multiple guards. Kaban is most commonly encountered around the Lexos Car Dealership and the surrounding streets and buildings.
Kaban frequently uses mounted weapons and strong suppression tactics. His guards hold angles aggressively, making open street engagements very risky. To defeat Kaban effectively, players should isolate guards one by one and force close to mid range fights inside buildings. Grenades are useful for clearing defensive positions and breaking line of sight.
Killing Kaban can reward players with high tier weapons, armor, ammunition, and valuable barter items.

Kollontay is a secondary boss that can spawn on Streets of Tarkov. Unlike other bosses, Kollontay specializes in close quarters combat and anti firearm behavior. He uses baton based mechanics that can disable weapons and force players into dangerous melee range.
Kollontay is most dangerous indoors and in tight corridors. Fighting him requires spacing, quick repositioning, and careful use of cover. Eliminating him quickly is critical, as prolonged engagements greatly increase the risk of death.
The Post Office is one of the best loot locations on Streets of Tarkov. It contains three filing cabinets, two loose loot spawns, one computer, one dead Scav, and one sports bag.
The Pharmacy is an excellent medical loot location. Players can find expensive injectors, medical supplies, one loose loot spawn, one medical bag, and one jacket capable of spawning keys.
This building is ideal for farming filing cabinets. It contains multiple medical bags, sports bags, filing cabinets, and one loose loot spawn behind a locked door.
The construction area is a strong location for hideout progression. It contains five sports bags, five jackets, seven toolboxes, and eight weapon boxes.
Behind the Yellow Building, players can loot eight toolboxes and thirteen weapon crates, making it one of the most efficient industrial loot areas on Streets of Tarkov.
You will need the Supply Department Director’s Office Key to access locked areas in the Yellow Building next to Lexos.
Lexos Car Dealership is one of the most active PvP zones on Streets of Tarkov, as it sits near the center of the map and attracts both players and bosses.
The Cinema area contains multiple PMC spawn points and a large number of Scavs. It also connects to several extractions, making early raid combat very common.
Most fighting on Streets of Tarkov happens inside buildings. Locations like the Post Office and Pharmacy should always be approached carefully.
Due to high loot density and its proximity to Lexos, combat is almost unavoidable in this building.
Keys are one of the best ways to make money on Streets of Tarkov. Useful keys include Concordia 64 Key, Chekannaya 15 Key, Iron Gate Key, and Stair Landing Key.
Most combat occurs around Lexos Car Dealership, Building 15, and apartment complexes.
The Post Office, Yellow Building near Lexos, and Concordia buildings contain large numbers of filing cabinets, computers, weapon boxes, and loose loot.
Learning PMC and Scav spawn locations significantly increases survival rates on Streets of Tarkov.
This map is one of the best locations for hideout items, especially when looting the construction area near the Collapsed Crane extraction and the Factory zone.
Streets of Tarkov offers one of the most rewarding experiences in Escape from Tarkov, combining dense loot, dangerous boss encounters, and constant PvP pressure. With proper extraction knowledge, awareness of Kaban and Kollontay spawns, and smart positioning, players can consistently profit while improving survival. Mastering Streets of Tarkov comes down to map knowledge, patience, and tactical movement.
