Arc Raiders A Rising Tide Quest Guide

Arc Raiders sends you to Buried City and Dam Battlegrounds for the A Rising Tide quest, featuring several objectives you'll need to complete before wrapping things up. While nothing about this mission is especially complicated, there are definitely a few shortcuts and smoother routes that can make your run far more efficient. That’s exactly what we’re here for. Below, we’ll walk you through how to complete A Rising Tide step by step.

On Buried City, find the Foreman's Barricaded Apartment South of Piazza Roma

Your first task in A Rising Tide takes place in Buried City, where you must locate the foreman’s barricaded apartment. This apartment can be found in one of the two adjacent buildings positioned just south of Piazza Roma, on the left-hand side of the map.

The simplest way to enter the building is by first making your way to a rooftop across from it. From there, you’ll spot a zipline that leads directly toward your objective. Check the map below to pinpoint the exact location of this zipline.

Ride the zipline across the gap, keeping an eye out for a small platform to your right. As you approach it, jump off the zipline at the right moment to land safely on the platform.

If you time your jump correctly, you’ll land directly inside the foreman’s barricaded apartment and can move on to the next objective without having to search for another entrance.

Access the Foreman's Digital Logbook

After entering the apartment, head toward the back of the room. There, you’ll see an interaction prompt that allows you to access the foreman’s digital logbook. Interact with it to continue progressing the quest.

Once you’ve accessed the logbook, your objective will update and direct you to Dam Battlegrounds. At this point, you’re free to extract from Buried City. After successfully leaving the area, queue up for Dam Battlegrounds to continue the mission.

On Dam Battlegrounds, reach the Power Generation Complex

Upon deploying into Dam Battlegrounds, your next destination is the Power Generation Complex. This massive point of interest is located at the northernmost edge of the map and is hard to miss due to its size.

To trigger the next phase of A Rising Tide, you’ll need to physically enter the Power Generation Complex area.

After stepping inside the POI, your objective will update again, instructing you to locate an entrance to the Controlled Access Zone.

Find a Way into the Controlled Access Zone

There are multiple possible routes into the Controlled Access Zone. Some players choose to use ziplines from the swamp area below, while others prefer routes that begin inside the Power Generation Complex itself. However, the method we recommend—especially since it places you close to your next objective—is the exterior ladder entrance.

To use this route, head to the outdoor location marked on the map below. Once there, look for the ladder and climb down into the facility.

At the bottom of the ladder, you’ll immediately notice a large, destroyed ARC suspended from the ceiling. As soon as you reach this area, your quest objective will update once more.

Search the Controlled Access Zone for any Clues about the Foreman's Reconstruction Project

The final step of A Rising Tide requires you to investigate the Controlled Access Zone for clues tied to the foreman’s reconstruction efforts. Fortunately, if you followed the ladder route we described above, you’ll already be very close to where you need to go.

Look for a nearby room that can be accessed from the walkway you descended onto. Follow the walkway, navigate around the structure, and pass through the doorway leading inside.

Inside this room, you’ll find a whiteboard that can be interacted with. Approach it and activate the prompt to complete the quest.

With that interaction complete, A Rising Tide will be finished. You can now extract from Dam Battlegrounds using any available extraction point. Once you’re back in Speranza, don’t forget to turn in the quest to receive your rewards and prepare for your next assignment.
