Flashpoint is finally live, bringing a wave of quality-of-life improvements alongside fresh map conditions and new weapons. It’s about time. In this guide, I’ll be focusing on the High Gain Antenna project in ARC Raiders and how to complete it efficiently.
High Gain Antenna Project Guide for ARC Raiders Quick Summary:
Some materials—especially Vaporizer Regulators and Assessor Matrices—are difficult to obtain. If you’d rather skip the grind and risk, you can always rely on Gamer Choice pros to complete the High Gain Antenna Project quickly and safely.

The infographic mentioned above was created by u/gifv_Kayla, whose work has been incredibly helpful while putting together this guide. Be sure to check out the original Reddit post and show some appreciation.
So what does this project actually demand from you? If you’ve been hoarding materials hoping to speed through this player project, chances are you didn’t stockpile the right ones—at least I didn’t. Even though there are only three stages, the requirements are no joke. That said, the rewards are definitely worth it, especially if your Raider has been sent on Expeditions.
If you’re looking for the fastest method to complete the High Gain Antenna project, focus on farming the Close Scrutiny map condition. Every required material drops from ARCs encountered during this event. Notably, Vaporizer Regulators and Assessor Matrices—needed in later stages—are exclusive to this condition.
Let’s break down each stage in detail.

While the first stage of most projects tends to be straightforward, this one feels unusually demanding—almost like a final-stage requirement. The materials themselves aren’t rare individually, but the quantities can become frustrating if you rely solely on farming minor ARCs.
Here’s what you need for the Sturdy Base stage:
All of these can be obtained during the Close Scrutiny map condition. Vaporizers, one of the newer ARC enemy types, also drop these materials, so make sure to loot them thoroughly after taking one down.
While this is the most efficient approach, there are alternative farming methods as well, which are outlined below.
| Materials | Where to Get |
|---|---|
| ARC Alloy x50 | You can get ARC Alloy virtually from every part of an ARC if you decide to recycle it. If you hope to just loot them, it’ll take a long time, as each ARC usually drops 1-2 of those. Recycle materials you don’t need from ARCs to get the Alloy to finish this section fast. |
| ARC Flex Rubber x10 | This material usually drops from Boss ARCs, but also from Sentinels and Ticks, occasionally. Sentinels are few and far between, so farming them isn’t an option. Ticks, on the other hand, are plentiful in the Buried City. If you have no weaponry to deal with boss ARCs, I suggest going the free kit route and just destroying as many Ticks as you can. Alternatively, you can get Flex Rubber from Baron Husks, but the quantity is low, usually just 1 piece of it drops. |
| ARC Performance Steel x10 | Aside from boss ARCs, two ARCs that also drop it are Hornet and Surveyor. To be honest, I barely found any on Hornets when looting them, but Surveyors actually drop 2-3 pieces of the needed Material, so 3-5 Buried City/Blue Gate runs, and you've got it. You can always try taking down Bastions, Bombardiers, or Leapers, as well as Vaporizers. |
| Advanced ARC Powercell x15 | My heart bleeds when I think of giving up the best source of Shield Charges. But oh well. ARC Powercells are very easy to find. There are many options for how you can get them, but I recommend just waiting for EM Storm/Husk Graveyard and looking for Rocketeer Husks, which are quite plentiful during these map conditions. One or two raids and you’re set. |
If you somehow stocked up on Flex Rubber and Performance Steel ahead of time—first of all, why? And second, consider yourself lucky. While the rewards for completing this stage are solid, it’s not worth burning through your entire stash trying to rush it.
This is where things start to ramp up. Stage Two introduces Epic-tier materials that are only available during the Close Scrutiny map condition. If you’re serious about completing this project, you’ll need to come prepared with a PvP-ready loadout.
The first two materials—ARC Coolant and ARC Thermo Lining—can be farmed relatively quickly by defeating minor ARCs. However, like everything else in this project, they also drop during the event itself.
Each Vaporizer typically drops around two Vaporizer Regulators and has multiple lootable parts. Make sure to collect everything scattered during the fight. With a bit of luck, you may only need to take down a couple of them.
Assessor Matrices are a bit trickier, as Assessors usually drop only one at a time. This makes them one of the more time-consuming materials to gather.
Here’s how to speed up Stage Two completion:
| Materials | Where to Get |
|---|---|
| ARC Coolant x15 & ARC Thermo Lining x15 | Both ARC Coolant and ARC Thermo Lining can be looted from the Assessor, but there's not enough to meet the goal quickly. What I recommend is going to the Buried City and going into the buildings. ARC Coolant and ARC Thermo Lining drop very reliably from Fireballs and Pops, and they're extremely easy to kill. Two to three lucky runs and you get the needed amount. |
| Vaporizer Regulator x4 | Vaporizer is one of the hardest major ARCs, if not the hardest. It's been fine-tuned to deal with typical Raider tactics. Just like I said before, it drops ~2 of the needed material upon its death. There are plenty of Vaporizers in the area during Close Scrutiny, so getting 4 Regulators in one run is possible. It's just that fighting the Vaporizer is really hard. |
| Assessor Matrix x6 | While getting this Matrix requires just looting the Assessor, the problem lies in that it's guarded by at least 1 Vaporizer. If you think that one Raider can distract the Vaporizer while the others loot the Assessor, think again. Vaporizer has multi-target attacks that deal significant damage. One Assessor can get you 2-3 Assessor Matrices. |
Even though this stage pushes you into a high-risk map condition, it’s still manageable with a bit of consistency. That said, the final stage is where things truly get intense.
Just looking at the requirements for this stage can be overwhelming. Both the top and bottom halves of the material list demand significant effort, and mistakes here can be costly.
You’ll earn one Surveyor Vault per kill, while ARC Synthetic Resin can be looted from Wasps. There are faster farming methods available, but they come with increased danger, so proceed carefully.
Since Vaporizer Regulators and Assessor Matrices were already covered in Stage Two, the same strategies apply here.
| Materials | Where to Get |
|---|---|
| Surveyor Vault x10 | While you can track and kill Surveyors, you can also loot ARC Couriers, or loot the Assessor, cause it also drops Surveyor Vaults. |
| ARC Synthetic Resin x20 | I briefly mentioned that you can get these materials from Wasps, but there's a faster way. Shredders. They now spawn on more maps, and on the open maps, they are far less dangerous than they were on Stella Montis. |
| Vaporizer Regulator x15 | Vaporizer is one of the hardest major ARCs, if not the hardest. It's been fine-tuned to deal with typical Raider tactics. I explained how to deal with a Vaporizer in this article. Just like I said before, it drops ~2 of the needed material upon its death. There are plenty of Vaporizers in the area during Close Scrutiny, so getting 4 Regulators in one run is possible. It's just that fighting the Vaporizer is really hard. |
| Assessor Matrix x18 | While getting this Matrix requires just looting the Assessor, the problem lies in that it's guarded by at least 1 Vaporizer. If you think that one Raider can distract the Vaporizer while the others loot the Assessor, think again. Vaporizer has multi-target attacks that deal significant damage. One Assessor can get you 2-3 Assessor Matrices. |
From experience, the biggest hurdle in completing this project isn’t just the grind—it’s mastering how to efficiently deal with Vaporizers. As for other Raiders, you might be able to negotiate your way out of a fight, but don’t rely on it.
Running a few raids with free kits can be a safer approach, but keep in mind that recent matchmaking changes make it harder to land in low-risk lobbies without bringing your own gear.

The rewards for this project are genuinely impressive. Not only do you get access to some of the best weapons available this season, but you’ll also receive high-tier consumables and weapon attachments.
On top of that, you’re awarded 500 Raider Coins, which is a significant increase compared to the usual ~200 coins given for similar projects.
Here’s a breakdown of the rewards:
| Reward | Description |
|---|---|
| Torrente II | A high-firing rate LMG. One of the best weapons for Stella Montis, btw. |
| Extended Medium Mag 3 | Adds 12 bullets to the mag size and makes weapons like Torrente and Arpeggio super strong. |
| Extended Barrel | It increases Bullet Velocity by 25%, which really helps on weapons like Anvil and Renegade. I’ve heard it works amazingly on Osprey, but I don’t see many people using Osprey, period. It also increases the Vertical Recoil by 15%, but that’s not a dealbreaker. |
| Padded Stock | This stock does a lot of things, but you gotta know that every blue and purple weapon mod has some tradeoffs you have to take into consideration. The same is the case here. It reduces all recoil and significantly reduces shot dispersion. Switching to and from this weapon becomes longer, and it slows down ADS significantly, so if you use it, use it on weapons that don’t require ADS. Namely, Torrente, Bobcat, and a new SMG, Canto. |
| Bobcat III | Will this SMG king be overthrown by a newcomer, Canto? We’ll see. So far, you gotta know that this is a very accurate, high RPM weapon that melts people. Missing shots is very punishing cause it chews through the mag in less than 0.5 seconds. |
| Extended Light Mag 3 | Adds 15 bullets to the mag size and turns Bobcat into an S+ tier gun. I’m not kidding, try it. |
| Vertical Grip 3 | Basically removes any vertical recoil, but makes ADSing super slow. You know where to put it. |
| Raider Coins x100 | Donation currency is needed to buy cosmetics. Save up enough and buy yourself a fancy outfit. I got three without donating a cent. |
| Vita Spray | Best healing item in the game, in my opinion. Not only does it heal fast, but it can heal anybody standing next to you. A game changer. |
| Photoelectric Cloak | You’ll need this item during the new map condition. It cloaks you from other ARCs and makes you invisible to them. |
| Snap Hook | Great traversal utility, but be careful using it next to an unfriendly Raider, as it’s one of the most desired (albeit rarely necessary) items in the game. |
| Raider Coins x400 | Yay, some more coins to buy a fancy outfit! |
All of these rewards point to one clear direction: combat. The Close Scrutiny map condition pulls players into high-value zones packed with loot, naturally increasing PvP encounters.
It seems like the developers noticed players being a bit too cooperative in what’s supposed to be a high-stakes extraction shooter and decided to shake things up. Or maybe that’s just my inner loot goblin talking.

To fully complete the High Gain Antenna project, you need to collect a large set of ARC materials across all three stages. These include ARC Alloy x50, ARC Flex Rubber x10, ARC Performance Steel x10, Advanced ARC Powercell x15, ARC Coolant x15, ARC Thermo Lining x15, Surveyor Vault x10, ARC Synthetic Resin x20, Vaporizer Regulator x19, and Assessor Matrix x24.
The High Gain Antenna is a player project connected to the Close Scrutiny map condition in ARC Raiders. To progress through it, you need to gather specific ARC parts during raids and contribute them to the project. In return, you unlock 12 rewards that include weapons, attachments, consumables, and other useful items.
No, there is no deadline attached to the High Gain Antenna project. Since the Shrouded Sky season removed time limits from player projects, you can work on it whenever you want and finish it at your own pace.
The High Gain Antenna Player Project is split into three stages in total. Compared to some earlier projects in ARC Raiders, this one is shorter in structure, though the material grind can still be quite demanding.
Finishing the High Gain Antenna project gives you 12 rewards overall. These include weapons, weapon attachments, quick-use items, consumables, and a total of 500 Raider Coins, making it one of the more worthwhile player projects to complete.
