Ivern Jungle is best built with Redemption, Ionian Boots of Lucidity, Moonstone Renewer, Dawncore, and Ardent Censer. Most picked runes for Ivern Jungle are Summon Aery, Nimbus Cloak, Transcendence, and Waterwalking for primary tree, as well as Cash Back, and Cosmic Insight for secondary tree.
As soon as your icon spawns on the map, make sure you take your camp immediately to reduce the chances of it being stolen. Keep an eye on the minimap at all times so you can use your Redemption from afar and save your allies. Ivern can steal buffs from the enemy Jungler at level 1 by using his W and Smite. Before minions spawn, getting an early ward in the enemy's jungle to spot where they’ve started will make stealing their second buff much easier.
For Ivern Jungle, Flash and Smite are the ideal Summoner Spells. The recommended runes include Summon Aery as the keystone, Nimbus Cloak, Transcendence, and Waterwalking in the primary tree, as well as Cash Back and Cosmic Insight in the secondary tree. For rune shards, Ability Haste in offense, Move Speed in flex, and Health Scaling in defense are recommended, but this can vary based on the matchup. As for items, Redemption should be your first item, followed by Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Moonstone Renewer. Afterward, build Dawncore, Ardent Censer, and finish with Shurelya's Battlesong. For the skill order, prioritize E, then Q, and finally W.
Another option for Ivern Jungle also involves Flash and Smite as Summoner Spells. For runes, Summon Aery remains the keystone, and Nimbus Cloak, Transcendence, and Waterwalking are chosen in the primary tree, with Cash Back and Cosmic Insight in the secondary tree. The rune shards in this build also consist of Ability Haste in offense, Move Speed in flex, and Health Scaling in defense. The item build starts with Moonstone Renewer, followed by Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Redemption. Then, complete the build with Ardent Censer, Dawncore, and Staff of Flowing Water. As with the previous build, E, Q, and W should be maxed in that order.
For a more alternative build, Flash and Smite are still the preferred Summoner Spells. For runes, Glacial Augment is chosen as the keystone, and Cash Back, Time Warp Tonic, and Cosmic Insight are selected in the primary tree. Transcendence and Waterwalking are taken in the secondary tree. The rune shards include Ability Haste, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling. The item build starts with Redemption, followed by Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Moonstone Renewer. Finish the build with Dawncore, Staff of Flowing Water, and Ardent Censer. As with other builds, prioritize maxing E, then Q, and lastly W.
If you're looking for an off-meta approach, Flash and Smite remain the Summoner Spells of choice. For runes, Press the Attack is chosen as the keystone, along with Triumph, Legend: Haste, and Cut Down in the primary tree. Cheap Shot and Ultimate Hunter are selected in the secondary tree. The rune shards in this build are Ability Haste, Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling. The item build starts with Malignance, followed by Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Bloodletter's Curse. Finish with Liandry's Torment, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Moonstone Renewer. Again, the skill order remains E, Q, and W.
Based on the context of the game, your matchup, and the enemy champions, you may want to consider adjusting your build or runes. Pay close attention to your team, the enemy team, the state of the game, and your individual matchup to decide on the best Ivern build. For example, when choosing rune shards, you might prefer Armor or Magic Resist depending on the champions you face in the jungle.
