After half a year without a fresh map, ARC Raiders finally has a new one. The wait was rough, but Riven Tides brings a proper new playground with its own conditions, loot routes, key rooms, secrets, and areas worth fighting over. In this ARC Raiders Riven Tides map guide, we’ll go through the full map, the best places to loot, the known puzzles, the Dockmaster’s Detector, and every key location currently known.
ARC Raiders Riven Tides Map Guide Quick Summary:
Want to enter the new map prepared? Try our ARC Raiders Blueprints to get the blueprint of your favorite gear and start your raids with an advantage.

Riven Tides is not the largest ARC Raiders map, and honestly, that works in its favor. You spend less time crossing empty space and more time looting, fighting, rotating, and running into other raiders. It has a similar feeling to Spaceport in the sense that the central area is dense and full of valuable places to check.
Here are the main features that define the ARC Raiders Riven Tides map:
So far, Riven Tides feels great. Even after only a few hours of playtime, the contrast between the two halves of the map already stands out. One side gives you a dock and industrial port atmosphere, while the other side feels like a resort area built around Hotel Panorama Azzurro. Whether you enjoy it or not will probably depend on how much you like beach maps in games, but as a new ARC Raiders location, it has a strong identity.

Riven Tides only has four colored areas, but even the yellow zones feel more rewarding than some bigger POIs on older maps. Compared to places like Rocket Assembly on Spaceport, the loot density here feels much better. It seems like the developers learned from previous maps and made Riven Tides more concentrated, with less dead space between meaningful areas.
Even the white traversal areas are not completely empty. You can still find useful loot while moving between major locations, which makes the whole map feel more active. It may even reach the same situation Stella Montis had on release, where the new map feels so efficient that older maps temporarily feel less attractive.
The best places to loot on ARC Raiders Riven Tides:
Hotel Panorama Azzurro is probably the biggest building ARC Raiders has had so far. It has multiple floors, many rooms, plenty of angles, and a lot of places where fights can break out. Shredders are also common here, so you need to stay alert while moving through the building.
The loot inside the Hotel is mostly Commercial and Residential, which makes it one of the best money-making areas on Riven Tides. If your goal is to make quick coin, this is the location you should seriously consider. There is also some Security loot behind locked doors, but the main reason to visit the Hotel is still its overall value and loot density.
The Port Authority Building is funny from a worldbuilding perspective because it sits right next to a fancy resort, despite being loud, industrial, and packed with danger. Gameplay-wise, it feels like one of those small Call of Duty-style maps where everything turns into chaos fast.
If Hotel Panorama Azzurro gives players at least a little room to breathe, Port Authority does the opposite. This is one of the strongest PvP zones on Riven Tides. You can expect close-range fights, players holding rooms, and quick third parties. Several rooms require keycards, and weapon containers can be found on the platforms outside the building.
Stacking Yard feels like the poster location for Riven Tides. It is vertical, dangerous, open from multiple angles, and full of patrolling ARCs. It is also one of the most interesting areas on the map because the loot is not just sitting inside simple buildings. Instead, you’ll often find it tucked around corners, containers, and elevated paths.
This is also one of the riskiest places to clear. While looting Stacking Yard, you can be seen from several parts of the map, which makes you vulnerable to other players. The reward is worth it, though. The area is rich in Industrial and Exodus loot, and Exodus loot seems to drop here very often.
Customs House is a smaller multi-level POI. Part of it is above ground, while the rest continues underground. You can reach it through the tunnel, and it also contains one of the extraction points on Riven Tides.
I have not looted Customs House enough yet to make a final judgment, but it already seems useful for newer Riven Tides project materials. I found a ship model there, along with other loot tied to the new content. Since it is called Customs House, it may end up having a bit of everything. Once there is more reliable information about this POI, this part should be updated.
The other minor points of interest can still contain decent loot, but they mostly exist to make movement between major areas less boring. If you want the best value, focus on the four locations above. Thankfully, Riven Tides is small enough that you can visit all of them in a single raid if your route goes well.
Riven Tides is not as packed with puzzle rooms as Blue Gate, but it does have a few secrets worth doing. One of them gives you a big loot reward, while the other is more of a fun social easter egg. Below are the known ARC Raiders Riven Tides puzzle solutions.
To start the disco ball easter egg, go to the Hotel area and head to the ground floor. Look for the room with the broken disco ball. This secret does not seem to give any valuable reward, but it is a fun interaction and a good way to mess around with other raiders.
There are three broken switches you need to repair and activate. Their exact locations are random, but they usually spawn on the ground floor and the floor above it. The activation order does not matter, but you need repair materials to fix them.
The possible materials include:
You do not need all of these materials at once. Each broken switch only requires one of the possible materials. For example, one switch may need 1 Battery, another may need 2 Wires, another may need 1 Power Cord, or another may need 1 Voltage Converter.
Once all three switches are repaired, activate them in quick succession. If done correctly, the music starts playing and the disco ball lights up the room. Just make sure to clear the Ticks first, because the room is full of them and they can ruin the whole moment quickly.

West of Stacking Yard, there is a secret room filled with containers. It is not exactly inside the main Stacking Yard area, but rather in a smaller separate building west of it. To complete this puzzle, you need at least two players.
The goal is to press four buttons scattered around Stacking Yard. The order does not matter, but the button spawns are randomized. They can appear in the central crane building, the western crane building, and the northwestern crane. The directions are based on Stacking Yard itself, since the entire POI is already on the eastern side of the map.
The known button locations are:
After pressing the buttons, you need 2 Batteries to repair the broken elevator. You can either bring these batteries with you or find them in the area. Once the elevator is repaired, look for a larger battery similar to the ones used to open the underground reception door on Blue Gate. It should be somewhere around the elevator and nearby building.
Bring that battery to the elevator. One player needs to hold the elevator button while the other carries the battery up. Take it to the second floor of the building where you started pressing the buttons. From there, look for a catwalk leading to a room with four glowing lightbulbs next to the door. If all four buttons were pressed, the room should now be open.
Place the battery into the slot, and the door to the small building west of Stacking Yard will open. Once inside, you can enjoy a large amount of loot.
There are several good ways to make money on Riven Tides. You can focus on locked rooms inside Hotel Panorama Azzurro, fight over Port Authority, clear the Stacking Yard secret room, or use the Dockmaster’s Detector to search the sand for buried loot. Riven Tides has a bit of everything.
Because the map is so small, you need to prioritize properly. Getting to high-value areas is easy, but that also means everyone else can reach them quickly too. If your timing is bad, a POI may already be completely cleaned out by the time you arrive. The map can feel like a money-hungry vacuum cleaner passed through it, especially in the first half of the raid.
Your route should depend on your spawn. The best spawns are:
Your exact loot route changes based on where you spawn, but the main idea stays similar. For this example, we’ll use the middle spawn as the starting point.
If you spawn near the middle of the map, you can either rush Hotel Panorama Azzurro or Stacking Yard. If you have Hotel keys, going to the Hotel can be worth it. If you do not have keys, Stacking Yard is usually the better choice.
Personally, I would still lean toward Stacking Yard even if I had keys, because the secret room and Exodus loot make it extremely valuable.
This is the best window to complete the Stacking Yard puzzle. Ideally, two players should handle the puzzle while a third watches the surrounding area for threats. Try to avoid fighting ARCs unless you have to, because the longer you stay there, the higher the chance another squad rotates into you.
In a coordinated group, the puzzle usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes.
After Stacking Yard, rotate toward the Port Authority Building. By this point, many of the early fights should already be over. Players who went there first are usually geared, which means there is a good chance you can scavenge something useful from leftover loot or from bodies.
Even if the winners took the best items, they cannot carry everything. It is still common to find valuable leftovers in and around the building.
If you still have time after checking Port Authority, move toward whatever major area you skipped earlier. This could be Hotel Panorama Azzurro or Stacking Yard, depending on your start.
I would not recommend visiting Stacking Yard too late, because most of the good loot will probably be gone. Instead, going to the Seabed for beachcombing can be more reliable. If you are willing to take a risk, you can also look for the new ARC boss, Turbine.
Beachcombing requires the Dockmaster’s Detector, which is a new gadget used to scan the sand for buried loot. More importantly, it helps you find buried Ship Models, which are needed for the new project.
The Dockmaster’s Detector is a new uncommon quick-use item made for finding loot buried in the sand. It has a durability meter, which means it can break if you use it too much. At the moment, it does not seem craftable. However, you can repair it in Speranza.
If the Detector starts smoking, stop using it. That usually means it is close to breaking. If it breaks completely, you will need to find another one on Riven Tides.
From testing, the Detector’s search radius seems fairly large, around 30 to 40 meters. It has some limitations, but actually using it is simple.
Here is how to use the Dockmaster’s Detector:
The loot is not always amazing, but it is usually worth picking up. So far, it can give nature loot, Ship Models, grenades, and other useful items. Since Ship Models are tied to the Avian Alarm project, using the Detector is worth doing whenever you have one.

This section is not fully complete yet, but it includes the key information that the community has already found. Most of the keys currently known are for Hotel Panorama Azzurro rooms, but there are also a few keys for other locations.
Here are all known key locations on Riven Tides in ARC Raiders:
| Keys | Description |
|---|---|
| Riven Tides Hotel Keycard #102 | West Wing, first floor of the hotel. |
| Riven Tides Hotel Keycard #107 | You’ll be given this key as a part of a new questline connected with Riven Tides. Middle of the first floor, before you reach the stairway. |
| Riven Tides Hotel Keycard #113 | East Wing, first floor. |
| Riven Tides Hotel Keycard #205 | Central Area, second floor |
| Riven Tides Hotel Keycard #208 | East Wing, second floor |
| Riven Tides Hotel Keycard #311 | A key to this room is acquirable by completing the fourth stage of the Avian Alarm project. The room is on the third floor, East Wing. |
| Riven Tides Hotel Keycard #404 | Reachable through the rooftop or the zipline. Go to the westmost part of the hotel. |
| Riven Tides Crane House Keycard | Stacking Yard, central crane. Reachable through a zipline or by climbing the ladder on the sides of the building. You can unlock two doors, so be careful not to waste your key and check both doors first. |
| Riven Tides Classified Records Keycard | Port Authority, on the top floor. There are two doors you can unlock with this key, both leading to the same area. There’s also another locked room inside. |
| Riven Tides Secure Storage Keycard | Port Authority. Another locked room inside the Classified Records room. |
As far as we know, these are currently all keycards on Riven Tides. Of course, there may still be hidden areas or secret key rooms that the community has not found yet. If more locked rooms are discovered, this list should be updated.
Right now, players have identified 10 key rooms in total. Seven are located inside Hotel Panorama Azzurro, one is found in the central crane at Stacking Yard, and two are inside Port Authority, with one of those being locked behind another key room.
Riven Tides is a newly added map built around vertical gameplay and tight rotations. It is relatively compact, roughly comparable in scale to the central area of Buried City.
You need to locate and activate four scattered buttons within Stacking Yard in any sequence. After that, repair the elevator and transport a battery to the previously locked room on the second floor of the western crane building to unlock access.
Repair three switches found across the ground and second floor of the Hotel Panorama Azzurro lounge. Each switch requires one random material such as wires, batteries, power cords, or voltage converters. Activate all three quickly to trigger the disco effect.
